You know that feeling you get when you watch one of your best friends living his dream? Yeah, gives me the chills too!
Hugging me in this picture is Nate Jones. Besides being my bestie, he is an amazing actor and all-around hilarious, passionate, compassionate, and delightful individual. When I first met him we instantly knew we were destined for complete and utter friendom. We both are driven and completely head over heals in love with everything acting, theatre, and all the geeky fun work that goes into those passions. Even back then, Nate was talking about the play, Holding the Man, which was his dream project. Now, years later, we were able to take this picture on opening night of a performance of Holding the Man that Nate produced and starred in.
It is a beautiful piece of work, directed by the famous Larry Moss and well implemented by an extremely talented cast of Aussies who make you laugh and cry, sometimes all at the same time.
